Inside the National Museum of Natural History.
I finally got my new camera after my old "point-and-shoot" suddenly and mysteriously died after only three weeks. Anyways, it's a brand new Canon PowerShot A720 IS. I'll do some more runs to learn the new controls and push its limits, but I'm very happy with what I'm seeing thus far. =D
KINDA' SORTA' FAMOUS?: I am happy to inform you that my shot of the glass canopy of Kogod Courtyard was featured as a banner for the blog of the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery called Face to Face.

Nice shot. The octoganol shapes within the window arches remind me of the shapes inside some of the window archways of the Missouri Capitol. I have a picture of them set to display in my Capitol Series on April 9th.

@Bonj: @Ron and Andrew: Thanks for the kind comments!
@Bonj: Yes I think the style is neoclassical which emphasizes symmetry, domed roofs and tall columns, and it adorns many a state capitol building. Then again my knowledge of architecture is pretty bare, but that style is quite recognizable. =D
