KINDA' SORTA' FAMOUS?: I am happy to inform you that my shot of the glass canopy of Kogod Courtyard was featured as a banner for the blog of the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery called Face to Face.

@rem_la: I had to get my girlfriend to translate for me. And yes it is quite skeletal. =D There's actually 5 of them arranged as such and they're about 12-15 inches tall.
Great use of DOF. :)

@Ronnie 2¢: Thanks Ronnie! The 5 or so figures were arranged in a staggered way. So I had some interesting shots with the figures.

@Levine: Hiya Levine and thanks for the support. I've been terribly busy these past few weeks. I just came back from a 3 day job interview. Yep, you read it. 3 days of interviews including a lecture demonstration and an open lecture. I had to take over a week to prepare and I finally came back. Needless to say, I am exhausted but I hope to be posting again soon. =D
great b/w shot. loved how the focus was on the middle figure and how the others were blurred, yet you could still see and 'feel' the texture in all three.

@niña kristine: Thanks very much Niña!!! I'm always playing around with depth of field as much as possible and the figures were in the right position. =D
Nice composition and depth of field. Love the texture and the walking on water. I know the figures are not your work but you chose what to include in the frame - good choices!
